A FOUNDATION OF PASSION
Amidst social unrest during the World War II era, the late Mr Mak Chot Yew fled Guangzhou in China to start a new life in Kuala Lumpur. In unfamiliar land and to support his family, he honed his craft in shoe making and eventually started a shoe materials trading business.

As his trade prospered, he leveraged his business growth to aggressively purchase land and properties around Kuala Lumpur, paving the way for the creation and success of today’s Alzac Group – one of Malaysia’s leading property developers and hoteliers.

THE START OF SUCCESS
Alzac Group started off as a boutique industrial developer in Balakong, planning and completing 4 industrial projects in Balakong and Cheras. Armed with this expertise, Alzac ventured into residential property development. Its flagship project was the Riverville Residences in Jalan Klang Lama – 473 units of practical and affordable units within a family orientated condominium complex.

Building on that success, the Alzac Group’s second residential project is the upcoming Metro Cheras that will boast 670 serviced apartments and 13 shop lots in a prime, connected areas of Cheras. Alzac also has two exciting projects in the pipeline: the Riverville Residences 2 and the Semenyih Township. As a hotelier, Alzac’s expertise in property development has led to the successful construction from scratch of 4 boutique hotels spread across Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Kuantan. Thousands of guests make Alzac hotels their base in exploring our beloved Malaysia every year.
